Our founder, Osvaldo Rivera, has been working with community outreach from youth rehabilitation to disaster case management with his Criminal Justice and Social work background education for the last twelve years. The goal was to understand every aspect of individuals’ social/emotional status that they might be going through in their lives.
Rivera created this non-profit to fulfill the needs of community members going through challenging situations in their lives that have developed mental health diagnoses, including stress, anxiety, and Depression. For the last three years, Rivera has been working as an Intensive Care Coordinator under the CBHI Services in the State of Massachusetts, serving low-income families with mental health diagnoses and minimal resources. This was the main reason that prompted him to provide therapeutic interventions to them to manage their emotional status, help them build their strengths, and rebuild their confidence levels. After the recent Covid-19 Pandemic, working remotely and in person with community members, this is the perfect time to bring the Program to the community to regain their lifestyle and use the experience to build stronger communities with more resiliency, self-esteem, and Confidence with a slid Emotional stability.
